Keep your eye simply on Him; let His death, His sufferings, His merits, His glories, His intercession, be fresh upon thy mind; when you wake in the morning look to Him; when thou lie down at night look to Him. Oh! let not your hopes or fears come between thee and Jesus; follow hard after Him, and He will never fail you.– Charles Spurgeon
Psalm 119: 147-148 “I rise before the dawning of the morning, And cry for help; I hope in Your word. My eyes are awake through the night watches, That I may meditate on Your word.”
We are so intent on caring for our physical body’s needs; are we craving the needs of our renewed spiritual self? There is an URGENT need for professing Christians to read/study the Word and humbly pray as the Word teaches. So let’s all start with a hearty breakfast from the Holy Bible; the breakfast of strong Christian soldiers. ♥ Streim
“A hearty breakfast from the Bible” . . . Amen, Stephanie. Nothing sets the tone of the day like a time in the Word and a two-way conversation with our loving Father God.

Stephanie,
How very true. As Christians we have such a great need to feed our spirits with the Word of the Lord. The days in which we live are filled with trials and heartaches. May we all seek the spiritual strength that comes from His Word!
Lord bless you. Thanks for the blessing!
