Romans 10: 9-17
That if you confess with your mouth, “Jesus is Lord”, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you confess and are saved. As the Scripture says, “Anyone who trusts in him will never be put to shame.” For there is no difference between Jew and Gentile-the same Lord is Lord of all and richly blesses all who call on him, **For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved **. How then shall they call on him in whom they have not believed ? and how shall they believe in him of whom they have not heard ? and how shall they hear without a preacher ? And how shall they preach , except they be sent ? as it is written , How beautiful are the feet of them that preach the gospel of peace, and bring glad tidings of good things! But not all the Israelites accepted the Good News. For Isaiah says, “Lord, who has believed our message?”( Isaiah 53:1 and John 12:38) Consequently, faith comes from hearing the message, and the message is heard through the word of Christ.
