Friday’s Favorite

Haven’t had a such a great week physically… which is why I haven’t posted anything.

BUT, as is always the case is with our Great Father and Savior it does get better.  I am still in a very painful condition, however today our Father showed me the purposes for my suffering, (because I asked) and I can say I rejoice in His love!

1.  To refine me as gold (ouch!  that fire is hot and it hurts–but it so very much needed)

” And I will bring the third part through the fire, and will refine them as silver is refined , and will try them as gold is tried : they shall call on my name, and I will hear them: I will say , It is my people: and they shall say , The LORD is my God.” Zechariah 13:9

2.  To keep me pliable in His Potter hands ( that’s not as “ouchy”, but it is uncomfortable)

“But now, O LORD, thou art our Father; we are the clay, and thou our potter ; and we all are the work of Thy hand.”  Isaiah 64:8

3.  To keep me calling on Him for all needs ( yea, sometimes I think I’m pretty adaptable to my physical conditions–now I know I’m not).

“Hear the right, O LORD, attend unto my cry, give ear unto my prayer, that goeth not out of feigned lips. ” Psalm 17:1

I KNOW everyone of us in the Body of Christ can relate to this.

Many blessings for weekend.

There is great peace and joy in knowing the Lord Jesus Christ as my Savior. I am blessed to serve our Heavenly Father through Him. Everyday is a new day to share the the glorious Gospel message of grace and forgiveness; the blessings of hope; the Father God's eternal promises; and the importance of living daily in the will of God according to the Scriptures, especially now with the world in chaos and uncertainty. My life before I asked God to forgive me of all my sin through the blood of Jesus Christ and I repented (turned away from it); was one of utter selfishness in all aspects of my life. I partied, I lived for ME and only me! Now, I live for Him, with great joy daily. I want to share the Gospel, encourage other sisters/brothers in Christ through prayer and do as He leads by the faith He's given through His abundant grace! 1. Great post! Sounds very familiar! I’m sorry that you’ve not been feeling well this week. I hope you’ll rebound very soon! I’m still suffering some residual effects of a recent severe flare up of the RSD! I’ll be praying for you! God bless!

  2. I’m sorry to hear about your week 😦 but it helps to know why we suffer when we do because it makes it bearable (to an extent). God has a divine purpose for the good and the bad. 🙂 I hope this week will be much better for you physically. I’ll be keeping you in my prayers. Be blessed.
