Romans 11:33-36 “Oh, the depth of the riches both of the wisdom and knowledge of God! How unsearchable are His judgments and His ways past finding out! “For who has known the mind of the Lord? Or who has become His counselor?” “Or who has first given to Him And it shall be repaid to him?” For of Him and through Him and to Him are all things, to whom be glory forever. Amen.
This Doxology by the Apostle Paul to the Romans is a beautiful description of the “immeasurable riches” of our Great Father in Heaven! If it were not for His sending His “ONLY” Son, to be the sacrifice for the sin of the world—and each of us personally having the opportunity to receive it, we would not KNOW of God at all! There would only be man’s ideas of who and what God should be, much as paganism and religions of the world do today! I REJOICE IN THE GIFT OF GOD~~OUR LORD AND SAVIOR JESUS CHRIST, THE WORD AND HOW HE FOREVER KEEPING US (HIS FORGIVEN CHILDREN) IN HIS EVERLASTING CARE!There is that vast distance and disproportion between God and man, between the Creator and the creature, which for ever shuts us from knowledge of His ways. What man shall teach God how to govern the world? The apostle Paul adores the sovereignty of the Divine counsels. All things in heaven and earth, especially those which relate to our salvation, that belong to our peace, are all of Him by way of creation, through Him by way of God’s foreseeing protection and care of his creatures, that they may be to Him in their end.
Of God, as the Spring and Fountain of all; through Christ, to God, as the end. These include all God’s relations to His creatures; if all are of Him, and through Him, all should be to Him, and for Him. Whatever begins, let God’s glory be the end: especially let us adore him when we talk of the Divine counsels and actions. The saints in heaven never dispute, but always praise! ~Taken from Matthew Henry with edits~
“The saints in heaven never dispute but always praise.” What truth!
Thank you also for commenting on this week’s post, Stephanie. It was a humble attempt to honor and remember our servicemen and women, past and present.
“…to Him be the glory now and forever.”

As I always say, ‘What an amazing God!’
We could use every superlative known to man, and yet not even scratch the vastness of the goodness of God – OR – the vastness of the immeasureable riches He bestows on His adopted, blood-bought children.
Considering all He has done for me, can I do other than love Him, follow Him and praise Him?
A truly, truly, amazing God!
