Threefold Blessing

It was a very busy weekend for me.  I was accepted into the membership of our small community church (Praising the Lord for leading me to an awesome family of Bible believing, Christ centered believers!!)  One of my grand-daughters got walloped in the nose at her baseball game by someone at the practice tee (She is fine..no broken bones).  The hot, humid weather is gone for a few days–so yesterday was the perfect time to prune down my enormous tomato plants, feed my birds and just do some outside work.

When I opened my e-mail yesterday I was shocked that my blog was nominated for 3 different awards.  WOW— I am so very humbled.  I don’t write this blog for man’s approval…but I thank Him ever so much for using it for His glory!

I was nominated for this award by Paulette from Paulette’s Blog.  Paulette’s Blog was the first blog I starting following when I started my blog in January.  The most amazing thing about her blog are the “Wednesday’s Praise and Worship Session”.   She faces some complex, painful physical conditions– but her love and relationship with our Lord Jesus Christ is very apparent by the joy she has and brings to others each week.  Check out her site    http://pbus1.wordpress.com/

The guidelines for accepting this award are as follows:

1. Link back to the blogger who nominated you.
2. Paste the award image on your blog, anywhere.
3. Tell them 7 facts about yourself.
4. Nominate 15 other blogs you like for this award.
5. Contact the bloggers that you have chosen to let them know that they have been nominated.

Seven facts about me:

Well first and foremost I love my Heavenly Father so much and I am so thankful to my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ for my salvation!!  I enjoy photography, especially clouds– I like Mediterranean style food– My living room is like a mini greenhouse– I like good reality TV like Extreme Home Makeover– I never went to a class reunion–

I am only nominating 1 person for this award– big  🙂 everyone as I introduce you to Anna!  Her blog http://daughterbydesign.wordpress.com/   “A journey of faith…” is a beautiful chronicle of this young woman’s walk with the Lord.

My dear sister Paulette who nominated for the above award– also nominated me for the Commentator Award . I don’t know a lot about this one— but I thank her for the kind words she said to me in her comment when she nominated me.   I assume the rules from above apply here as well.   There is  one person’s blog I follow regularly because he shares numerous devotional items from various sources and once in a while will share a tad about himself.  The materials he shares have been great steeping stones for me so I would like to nominate one blogger, a dear brother in Christ!

Again, big smileys  🙂  for Wayne.  Check out his blog  http://wayneaugden.wordpress.com/

Finally, I would like to give a big thank you to Faith from Faith Rises  http://faithrises.com/  who nominated me for the “Beautiful Blogger Award”.  Faith’s encouragement from The Word is more than an inspirational!   Her blog contains rock solid Biblical words to aid anyone in their continuing faith walk with our Blessed Lord God!

Since I have already given some tidbits about myself,  all that’s left is to nominate.  I have 2 nominees for this award.  Big smileys again– 🙂 for both of them!

First, I would like to nominate Jeanne at Heavenly Ramblings.  She may think they are ramblings, but I would prefer to think of them as “Heavenly Raindrops” because they are filled with the love of the Living Water–our Jesus.  Check out her blog at http://heavenlyramblings.wordpress.com/

Next, to a young woman who is honest about herself, her walk with the Lord and her growth in the process.  Here name is Gail!  Her blog http://findingtheway777.wordpress.com/  is filled with her past and her present.  Every post if something new… she loves the Lord so much.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~*******************************~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
When I first started this blog, I never knew about awards.  I thank both Paulette and Faith for their nominations.  However, it is not I that should receive the glory… for the glory alone belongs to the One whom we call the Creator and Sustainer Almighty God– in three persons.
Rejoice and let the praises ring to Him in heaven!
There is joy, hope and peace in knowing the Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior. Everyday is a new day to share the the glorious Gospel message of grace and forgiveness; the blessings of hope; the Father God's eternal promises; and the importance of living daily in the will of God according to the Scriptures, especially now with the world in chaos and uncertainty. My life before I repented of all my sin, was washed clean by the blood of the Lamb of God-- Jesus Christ and was born again; was one of utter selfishness in every aspects of my life. I lived for ME and only me! Now I live for my Lord and soon coming King, rejoicing daily. I earnestly desire to share the message of the Gospel, encourage sisters/brothers in Christ by fervent prayer and studying the Holy Scriptures more each day.   1. Congratulations! I know you say (as many of us do) that the glory belongs to the Lord, and it does – but the fact is that He uses YOUR personality which always shines forth in your blogs and comments – so congratulations to you!
