A SUSTAINED WIND OF 45 MPH WITH A GUST TO 67 MPH WAS RECENTLY REPORTED AT JFK INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT IN NEW YORK. ANOTHER UPDATE WILL BE ISSUED AT THE TIME OF LANDFALL AND AT 900 PM EDT. I have been praying and watching the news Stephanie, and continue to pray for all those who are affected and for the restoration work in the coming days and weeks. Some of our friends here at wordpress are in the path and I especially pray for them.
My eldest son lives in Lower Manhattan, overlooking the Hudson. The waters would have reached his building, but he is on the sixth floor, so there won’t be any damage. He works for Bloomberg and Bloombergs evacuated him and placed him in a mid town hotel, so he is safe, though possibly without power.

So thankful to know your son is safe. I know one of our elders daughter was in New York yesterday for 2 job interviews. I do not know how she is, but I am continuing to pray as the winds have reached my area and I can’t even imagine the devastation and loss of so much for so many.
