Biblical Survival Tips For Your Walk With Jesus

Read and study the Word~~Matthew 4:4 “But He answered and said, “It is written, ‘Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceeds from the mouth of God.’ “

Spend time quietly in the LORDs presence~~Psalm 46:10 “Be still, and know that I am God; I will be exalted among the nations, I will be exalted in the earth!”

Pray always with thanksgiving~~1 Thessalonians 5:16-18 “Rejoice always, pray without ceasing, in everything give thanks; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you.

Trust God’s Sovereignty in all things~~Proverbs 3:5-6 “Trust in the Lord with all your heart, And lean not on your own understanding;  In all your ways acknowledge Him, And He shall direct your paths.”

Be obedient to Jesus words~~John 13:34 “A new commandment I give to you, that you love one another; as I have loved you, that you also love one another.”

“Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord and in the power of His might.  Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil.  For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this age, against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places.  Therefore take up the whole armor of God, that you may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand.  Stand therefore, having girded your waist with truth, having put on the breastplate of righteousness,  and having shod your feet with the preparation of the gospel of peace;  above all, taking the shield of faith with which you will be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked one.  And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God;  praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, being watchful to this end with all perseverance and supplication for all the saints– “ Ephesians 6:10-18

There is joy, hope and peace in knowing the Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior. Everyday is a new day to share the the glorious Gospel message of grace and forgiveness; the blessings of hope; the Father God's eternal promises; and the importance of living daily in the will of God according to the Scriptures, especially now with the world in chaos and uncertainty. My life before I repented of all my sin, was washed clean by the blood of the Lamb of God-- Jesus Christ and was born again; was one of utter selfishness in every aspects of my life. I lived for ME and only me! Now I live for my Lord and soon coming King, rejoicing daily. I earnestly desire to share the message of the Gospel, encourage sisters/brothers in Christ by fervent prayer and studying the Holy Scriptures more each day. 1. Great reminders for us all….How we lose out when we don’t read the word of God….It’s like having cabinets full of food and never looking in them…… Thank you for your faithfulness, dear sister.

  2. Excellent lesson, Stephanie! These are great survival tips! The Scripture that came to mind is, “Thy word have I hid in mine heart, that I might not sin against thee.” Thank you so much for sharing! May the Lord bless you!

    1. Great Scripture that’s fits this very well! Thanks sister Paulette. I’ve been wondering how you are doing—no Wed Worship this week. I pray you’re having a flare with the RSD… if so, I am bringing you before the throne of mercy! May our Father and Lord Jesus Christ bless you abundantly!

  3. Great advice Stephanie. Our great God has supplied all we need to live a victorious life in Christ – but we have to do our part. Of ourselves, we will fail, but when we allow HIM to rule and to equip us, we will see amazing results.
