Because You Ask Not!

don't worry

How many times do we become concerned about situations that affect our lives that involve ourselves, family members, church friends or neighbors?  How many of those times do we get to our wits end before we bring them before the Throne of Glory and ask God for help?  I believe far too many times.  God’s Word gives us a very important message in James 1:5 : “If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach, and it will be given to him.”

Of late, I know for myself that many people are hurting, struggling, scared and ready to quit–for whatever the reason.  Let us not forget, that the Father loves us beyond our human comprehension!  He gave up His most beloved Son to pay the ultimate penalty for our sin. Why wouldn’t He care about everything in our lives?  Remember that to obtain salvation we must “ask the Lord’s forgiveness through the blood of Jesus Christ and ask for Jesus Christ to come in when He knocks at our heart’s door”.   David in his poetic psalm 119 asks for the things he lacks…

Psalm 119: 33-40

33 Teach me, O Lord, the way of Your statutes, And I shall keep it to the end.

34 Give me understanding, and I shall keep Your law; Indeed, I shall observe it with my whole heart.

35 Make me walk in the path of Your commandments, For I delight in it.

36 Incline my heart to Your testimonies, And not to covetousness.

37 Turn away my eyes from looking at worthless things, And revive me in Your way.

38 Establish Your word to Your servant, Who is devoted to fearing You.

39 Turn away my reproach which I dread, For Your judgments are good.

40 Behold, I long for Your precepts; Revive me in Your righteousness.

May you blessed more each day as you walk closer to Him– even when you don’t have the strength, just ask Him. Streim

There is joy, hope and peace in knowing the Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior. Everyday is a new day to share the the glorious Gospel message of grace and forgiveness; the blessings of hope; the Father God's eternal promises; and the importance of living daily in the will of God according to the Scriptures, especially now with the world in chaos and uncertainty. My life before I repented of all my sin, was washed clean by the blood of the Lamb of God-- Jesus Christ and was born again; was one of utter selfishness in every aspects of my life. I lived for ME and only me! Now I live for my Lord and soon coming King, rejoicing daily. I earnestly desire to share the message of the Gospel, encourage sisters/brothers in Christ by fervent prayer and studying the Holy Scriptures more each day. 1. God’s Word is indeed precious. When we let go of our own thought patterns, and seek Him and His will, He directs us to the very words we need and we find a complete answer to what we have considered a problem. He knows us inside out. He knows His Word and He marries the two, fitting His Word to our need.

What a truly, truly amazing God!
