ME?? A “Liebster Blog” Award Nominee

liebster

I am truly honored by Pastor J at  Reinventing the We’ll for nominating me for this award.   Pastor J’s blog is such an inspiration to me and I would ask that all of you check it out– http://jelillie.wordpress.com/ .   This man is a truly humble man of God who honors the gift of being a shepherd to his flock.

I don’t know too much about the award, but I keep thinking it’s a ‘lobster’ award and I like lobster so I accept.  From what I understand I am to answer 11 questions, then come up with 11 nominees to pass the award on to,  create a set of 11 questions I believe appropriate to my nominees and notify them that they’ve been nominated.  Just as it took Pastor J several blog posts to fulfill the requirements of accepting this award, to answer the 11 questions will take me several days… so please bear with me.

I’ve decided it be best for me to wait after our Christmas festivities to begin answering the 11 questions, and pass on the award.  May your time with family and loved ones be filled with all the “love” of our Savior’s birth, the joy of knowing His love and the peace that passes all human understanding.

1 John 3:1  “Behold what manner of love the Father has bestowed on us, that we should be called children of God!… “

There is joy, hope and peace in knowing the Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior. Everyday is a new day to share the the glorious Gospel message of grace and forgiveness; the blessings of hope; the Father God's eternal promises; and the importance of living daily in the will of God according to the Scriptures, especially now with the world in chaos and uncertainty. My life before I repented of all my sin, was washed clean by the blood of the Lamb of God-- Jesus Christ and was born again; was one of utter selfishness in every aspects of my life. I lived for ME and only me! Now I live for my Lord and soon coming King, rejoicing daily. I earnestly desire to share the message of the Gospel, encourage sisters/brothers in Christ by fervent prayer and studying the Holy Scriptures more each day.
