2 Corinthians 4: 17-18 ” For our light and momentary troubles are achieving for us an eternal glory that far outweighs them all. So we fix our eyes not on what is seen, but on what is unseen. For what is seen is temporary, but what is unseen is eternal.”
Winter Words
Author: Streim
There is joy, hope and peace in knowing the Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior. Everyday is a new day to share the the glorious Gospel message of grace and forgiveness; the blessings of hope; the Father God's eternal promises; and the importance of living daily in the will of God according to the Scriptures, especially now with the world in chaos and uncertainty. My life before I repented of all my sin, was washed clean by the blood of the Lamb of God-- Jesus Christ and was born again; was one of utter selfishness in every aspects of my life. I lived for ME and only me! Now I live for my Lord and soon coming King, rejoicing daily. I earnestly desire to share the message of the Gospel, encourage sisters/brothers in Christ by fervent prayer and studying the Holy Scriptures more each day. troubles . . . eternal glory – well worth it!
Praise God for the way He uses troubles to ‘grow’ us and refine us.
(the winter scene is rather refreshing as we swelter in the heat wave. Have you heard about our 40+C (100-120F) temperatures and much worse, our bushfires? Well over 100 homes have been completely destroyed and many more beyond repair. So far, no deaths have been reported, but about 100 are considered ‘missing’ because there is no word of their whereabouts. We are a long distance from the fires but we feel for those affected)

Dear sweet Angela, I am so very saddened that your country (homeland) is suffering such an extreme summer. I wasn’t aware of that (I very rarely watch news on the television), but I will start praying today for those missing people and the wildfire situation.
I rejoice in knowing that no matter what the weather… Our Lord Jesus is coming soon and our Father is always in complete control, even when we don’t understand.
Be blessed and stay cool! Sending loving thoughts in Jesus

Thanks for praying Stephanie.
There are still numerous people missing in Tasmania where so many houses have been completely destroyed, but so far examination of the ruins haven’t uncovered any bodies. It is very likely that people haven’t let authorities know they are safe, but have been reported missing by friends/relatives.
There are currently more than 140 fires burning in New South Wales alone plus ones still burning in Victoria and Tasmania. Temps have reached 51*C
(123*F) in some places.
