Friday’s Feature

closed bible

What are your priorities?  What if we treated our Bibles like we treat our cell phones?

What if we carried it around in our purses or pockets all day ?

What if we flipped through it several times a day to see what was happening?

What if we turned around and went back home to go get it if we forgot it?

What if we used it to receive Messages from the text?

What if we treated it like we couldn’t live without it?

What if we gave it to our kids as gifts?

What if we used it when we traveled?

What if we used it in case of emergency?

This is something to make you go….hmm…where is my Bible?

Oh, and one more thing.

Unlike our cell phone, we don’t have to worry about our Bible being disconnected because Jesus already paid the bill.

Makes you stop and think ‘where are my priorities? And no dropped calls!

And as for prayer…

When Jesus died on the cross, He was thinking of you!  I pray that your priorities are in line with what the Lord Jesus and our Heavenly Father have for you today and always.  Be blessed abundantly ♥ Streim

There is joy, hope and peace in knowing the Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior. Everyday is a new day to share the the glorious Gospel message of grace and forgiveness; the blessings of hope; the Father God's eternal promises; and the importance of living daily in the will of God according to the Scriptures, especially now with the world in chaos and uncertainty. My life before I repented of all my sin, was washed clean by the blood of the Lamb of God-- Jesus Christ and was born again; was one of utter selfishness in every aspects of my life. I lived for ME and only me! Now I live for my Lord and soon coming King, rejoicing daily. I earnestly desire to share the message of the Gospel, encourage sisters/brothers in Christ by fervent prayer and studying the Holy Scriptures more each day. 1. I don’t have a cell phone but I love the comparisons/contrasts.
If we don’t physically carry our Bibles, we should at least carry them in our hearts, having memorised large portions and trusting Holy Spirit to bring them to memory when needed.

Thanks for a good challenge Stephanie.
