A Day I Will Always Remember

Seven years ago today, the Lord God Almighty, in His “unfailing love and mercy” saved my physical life.  I won’t go into the tragic story, but I will say He put people in the right place at the right time to pull me from a burning building.  They were not fireman, just two guys repairing my next door neighbor’s frozen sewer lines.  They saw the smoke, broke my door down and drug me out.  Coincidence–NO!  God’s perfect plan–YES!
Months later, after grieving the loss of my mother, God reached out to me with the Gospel message through a local Christian radio program, followed by a song I will always cherish.  At that moment, broken and filled with the sorrow of my sin filled; selfish life, I wept in repentance.  I gave my heart to Almighty God through the forgiveness and redemption I received accepting Jesus death on the cross as payment for my sin!   Now my life overflows with “Hope and Peace” despite the uncertainty and troubles of this life.
As long as I live in this earthly body I will sing praises to His name and live to bring glory and honor to Heavenly Father and Lord Jesus.  As the days pass– I watch and wait for our Lord Jesus return!  I will “Always Be His”.
If you do not know the love, joy, hope and peace that is available to not only you but everyone through Jesus Christ’s death and resurrection— here are some verses from God’s eternal Word that I pray will show you just how much the Creator God loves YOU.

John 3:14-17 ” … even so must the Son of Man be lifted up,  that whoever believes in Him should not perish but  have eternal life.  For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.  For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be saved.”

Acts 17:25-30 “Nor is He worshiped with men’s hands, as though He needed anything, since He gives to all life, breath, and all things.  And He has made from one blood  every nation of men to dwell on all the face of the earth, and has determined their preappointed times and the boundaries of their dwellings, so that they should seek the Lord, in the hope that they might grope for Him and find Him, though He is not far from each one of us; for in Him we live and move and have our being, as also some of your own poets have said, ‘For we are also His offspring.’ Therefore, since we are the offspring of God, we ought not to think that the Divine Nature is like gold or silver or stone, something shaped by art and man’s devising. Truly, these times of ignorance God overlooked, but now commands all men everywhere to repent,”

Revelation 3:20 “Behold, I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears My voice and opens the door, I will come in to him and dine with him, and he with Me.”

May you be blessed, thankful and filled with praise…  ♥ Streim

There is joy, hope and peace in knowing the Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior. Everyday is a new day to share the the glorious Gospel message of grace and forgiveness; the blessings of hope; the Father God's eternal promises; and the importance of living daily in the will of God according to the Scriptures, especially now with the world in chaos and uncertainty. My life before I repented of all my sin, was washed clean by the blood of the Lamb of God-- Jesus Christ and was born again; was one of utter selfishness in every aspects of my life. I lived for ME and only me! Now I live for my Lord and soon coming King, rejoicing daily. I earnestly desire to share the message of the Gospel, encourage sisters/brothers in Christ by fervent prayer and studying the Holy Scriptures more each day. 1. Praise God for your testimony of His love, mercy and grace.

I find it surprising that you have only been a Christian for seven years. Your posts show a spiritual maturity that made me think you had decades of knowing Him. However, we serve an incredibly amazing God who changes us and works in us as we submit to Him.

I know our amazing God will continue to bless you, moulding you into His image, and using you to reach others with His love, mercy and grace.
