Ecclesiastes 11: 12  ” The words of a wise man’s mouth are gracious, But the lips of a fool shall swallow him up;”

Proverbs 16:24 ” Pleasant words are like a honeycomb, Sweetness to the soul and health to the bones.”

Psalm 36: 1-3 ” To the Chief Musician. A Psalm of David the servant of the Lord. An oracle within my heart concerning the transgression of the wicked: There is no fear of God before his eyes.  For he flatters himself in his own eyes, When he finds out his iniquity and when he hates. The words of his mouth are wickedness and deceit; He has ceased to be wise and to do good.”

Psalm 94:12-22: ” Blessed is the man whom You instruct, O Lord, And teach out of Your law, That You may give him rest from the days of adversity, Until the pit is dug for the wicked.  For the Lord will not cast off His people, Nor will He forsake His inheritance.  But judgment will return to righteousness, And all the upright in heart will follow it.  Who will rise up for me against the evildoers? Who will stand up for me against the workers of iniquity?  unless the Lord had been my help, My soul would soon have settled in silence.  If I say, ‘ My foot slips,’ Your mercy, O Lord, will hold me up.  In the multitude of my anxieties within me, Your comforts delight my soul.  Shall the throne of iniquity, which devises evil by law, Have fellowship with You?  They gather together against the life of the righteous, And condemn innocent blood. But the Lord has been my defense, And my God the rock of my refuge”

Yes, the tongue is unruly… very much able to tear down a person’s integrity; however… when we ask our Heavenly Father in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ to help us bridle the tongue… He does so by the power of the Holy Spirit.  A lifelong lesson for many, one I am constantly reminded of and chastened for;  as I am learning to talk less and listen more— Praise be to my Father and Lord Jesus!

I pray this video and the song will be a blessing to all.  ♥ Streim

There is joy, hope and peace in knowing the Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior. Everyday is a new day to share the the glorious Gospel message of grace and forgiveness; the blessings of hope; the Father God's eternal promises; and the importance of living daily in the will of God according to the Scriptures, especially now with the world in chaos and uncertainty. My life before I repented of all my sin, was washed clean by the blood of the Lamb of God-- Jesus Christ and was born again; was one of utter selfishness in every aspects of my life. I lived for ME and only me! Now I live for my Lord and soon coming King, rejoicing daily. I earnestly desire to share the message of the Gospel, encourage sisters/brothers in Christ by fervent prayer and studying the Holy Scriptures more each day. 1. Thank you for stopping. It wasn’t “my” intent to post this today… but the Lord sent me in this direction! When He leads, I truly try to follow.

  1. “Learning to talk less and listen more” me too . . . and it is amazing at what I am hearing! Sometimes I want to say something but know that this “unruly thing” will get the best of me so I just start talking to the Lord and thanking Him for all He has done . . . works every time! ~ Blessings ~
