The older I get
The more I learn
The less I know!
But this one thing I KNOW… I know the One who holds the future and holds my hand!
Getting older has it’s share of afflictions… but A.W. Pink says it best:
Afflictions are light when compared with what we really deserve. They are light when compared with the sufferings of the Lord Jesus. But perhaps their real lightness is best seen by comparing them with the weight of glory which is awaiting us. —Arthur W. Pink
Be blessed on this day that the Lord has made! ♥ Streim
Age has never bothered me. I have been blessed with exceptionally good health.
However, I started to feel old this year, after my accident at Christmas and not being able to walk properly since. Now, I must admit I can no longer do what I was able to do previously, but God NEVER changes.
My God is still on the throne.
My God still loves me, cares for me and wants the very best for me.
My God will continue His work in my life, molding me into His image, and one day (soon) I will be presented faultless before Him – only because of what Christ has done.
