About This Blog and Me

Welcome!  You may wonder about the name of this blog.  Well, I’ve learned in my time walking with the Lord that the most precious moments we have, as His children, are the ones spent alone in His presence with His Word and in humble prayer.  The world we live in today is fast-paced, full of distractions and aimed at devouring every moment of our lives.  All this makes it’s difficult to find time to  “Be still, and know that I am God: I will be exalted among the heathen, I will be exalted in the earth.” Psalms 46:10

But we MUST!

Everything has a purpose and this website is no different.  I am not a Bible scholar, but I am a forgiven follower of the Lord Jesus Christ who loves the Lord and His Word.  It is my belief, as written in 2 Timothy 3: 16-17 “All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness: That the man of God may be perfect, throughly furnished unto all good works.”
As Moses spoke to God’s people before entering the Promised Land, “So He humbled you, allowed you to hunger, and fed you with manna which you did not know nor did your fathers know, that He might make you know that man shall not live by bread alone; but man lives by every word that proceeds from the mouth of the Lord. Deuteronomy 8:3

Therefore, this blog/ website is intended to encourage, edify, teach and exhort those who truly desire a true personal relationship with their (our) Lord Jesus Christ!   For those who do not know the “gift of God”, salvation through the shed blood of Jesus Christ, I offer an opportunity to find ‘real peace and true joy’ for everyday through the message of the Gospel.

My heartfelt desire is that the LORD God be glorified above all else, for He alone is worthy.

    1. I too look forward to your posts. I, too, found great interest in your “read this first” (about you n blog) page. Bless you for speaking the truth in these days when “false teachings” seem to be abounding.
