Make sure the switch is on…

Jesus spoke to His disciples “You are the light of the world. A city that is set on a hill cannot be hidden. Nor do they light a lamp and put it under a basket, but on a lamp stand, and it gives light to all who are in the house. Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works and glorify your Father in heaven.”  (Matthew 5:14-16 NKJV)

Recently someone told me about a young Christian girl who sought help from prominent older women in her church.  She had experienced a situation of complete failure in her walk with Christ.  So young in Jesus, still awaiting the milk of the Word to nourish her, but no one responded.  Now this precious baby lamb of God is very frightened and angry.  I thank our Lord Jesus ‘another young Christian women’  suggested she spend some time with a common friend of theirs who loves the Lord and is much older in the faith.  The ‘older woman’ in the faith agreed to have coffee with the troubled girl and just talk.  Do you let your light shine…or just talk about it?  Sadly, many claiming our Savior’s name speak the words without walking the walk. Honestly, it takes a daily commitment to the Lord and His work.  This dedication is only accomplished by totally surrendering our will to our Heavenly Father.  Are you sure if your switch is on today..?♥ Streim

ALL and EVERYTHING

Strenth-Song-Salvation

The Lord is my everlasting HOPE and my always PEACE.  Worshiping forward until I see Him face to face.  May today bless you with all the joy our salvation brings.  I pray we all thank our Gracious Creator God for sending His Son to pay the”wages (payment) for our sins”.  Without Jesus shedding His precious blood, our Father raising Him to sit on the throne in heaven and then allowing us to become blood bought adopted heirs, we’d be lost with nothing.  Instead we have ALL/EVERYTHING waiting in eternity, but only if we have personally taken that “gift of God” into our own hearts and lives. ♥ Streim

Where Do You Place Your Expectations ?

Stayed on Thee

Recently several of my children have experienced situations where they had to make choices–major choices in their lives.  I am pleased that God gave us Word to guide us along this life as His blood bought adopted child.  These 3 children of mine chose to beseech our Heavenly Father, along with fellow believing friends, to keep them strong.  Where do place your expectations?  I’ve always told all my children (and others) that trusting in people will always cause heartache, because they will let you down.  Place your trust in the One who is worthy and capable–for HE IS GOD! ♥ Streim
