Posted in Living in Today's World, Time for Sharing

…been a long, long time

Anyone who regularly reads this blog knows my posting for the past months (if not year??) was sporadic, to say the least.
I’ve spent much time reading, studying and exploring the Holy Scriptures with deeper intent. Also, I spent a lot more time in my prayer closet (my little apt) than I ever have.  ** I am not boasting here… as Paul said my only boasting is in the Lord..**
It wasn’t until last week when someone spoke about their relationship to God, that I realized, with all I’ve learned from the Holy Spirit in the Word through earnest prayer— it’s time to write once more.
Of course, I will ease into writing and sharing again, but I have many joyful things to share.
Until my actual first post, I would like to leave you with a few verses that have kept me on my toes, spiritually.

Matthew 10:32-33 “Therefore whoever confesses Me before men, him I will also confess before My Father who is in heaven.  But whoever denies Me before men, him I will also deny before My Father who is in heaven.”

I pray for all of my blood bought adopted brothers and sisters in Christ, that we the TRUE church and the Body of Christ completely surrender to the will of He who bought us.   Blessings ♥ Streim

See to it that no one takes you captive through philosophy and empty deception, according to the tradition of men, according to the elementary principles of the world, rather than according to Christ

What’s in a Name?

Philippians 2:1-11

Therefore if there is any encouragement in Christ, if there is any consolation of love, if there is any fellowship of the Spirit, if any affection and compassion, make my joy complete by being of the same mind, maintaining the same love, united in spirit, intent on one purpose.  Do nothing from selfishness or empty conceit, but with humility of mind regard one another as more important than yourselves; do not merely look out for your own personal interests, but also for the interests of others.  Have this attitude in yourselves which was also in Christ Jesus, who, although He existed in the form of God, did not regard equality with God a thing to be grasped, but emptied Himself (* laid aside His privileges) , taking the form of a bond-servant, and being made in the likeness of men. Being found in appearance as a man, He humbled Himself by becoming obedient to the point of death, even death on a cross. For this reason also, God highly exalted Him, and bestowed on Him the name which is above every name, so that at the name of Jesus EVERY KNEE WILL BOW, of those who are in heaven and on earth and under the earth, and that every tongue will confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.

the name of JesusThere’s just something about that name.  Jesus… Jesus…Jesus  Have a blessed, beautiful and Christ filled Sunday.  ♥ Streim                               (photo credit:MMS Photos/ForHis Majesty)
