What Would It Look Like?

You know, there are many days I wake up in the morning and wonder…

What would my life look like if I wouldn’t have accepted the beautiful “love gift” of salvation offered to me by Almighty God?

What if I wouldn’t have repented of my horrific sins and been washed in the cleansing blood of the Lamb of God, our Lord Jesus Christ?

What if the first time a friend mocked me for the “life changes” they saw occurring in my life, I had failed to hang on to the Truth?

What if the first time a former temptation happened in my new life, I would have given into it?

What if when the first testing came, I would have flunked the test before I even went through it, because of fear?

What if I hadn’t listened to the Holy Spirit’s still small voice within and began to make some choices that weren’t indicative of my old personality?

What if I hadn’t fallen in love with my Lord Jesus Christ as my Prince and my Bridegroom and desired to learn more of Him?

This is probably what it would look like

But… Praise be to God for His unspeakable gift!!   I do know Jesus Christ as my Lord and Savior and I have a Heavenly Father who adopted me.  My future in secure in the love of God, my hope is eternal, my life is mapped out by my Father and I am never alone.

Ephesians 1:3-10 “Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us in Christ with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly places,  even as he chose us in him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and blameless before him. In love  he predestined us for adoption as sons through Jesus Christ, according to the purpose of his will,  to the praise of his glorious grace, with which he has blessed us in the Beloved.  In him we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of our trespasses, according to the riches of his grace, which he lavished upon us, in all wisdom and insight  making known to us the mystery of his will, according to his purpose, which he set forth in Christ as a plan for the fullness of time, to unite all things in him, things in heaven and things on earth.” (ESV)

You know, we all know those people who don’t know our Lord Jesus… or maybe they once walked with Him but have wandered.  It’s our God-given commandment to tell the Gospel and pray for them.  Have a blessed week ~~~
