God's Handiwork

“Oh, sing to the Lord a new song! Sing to the Lord, all the earth.  Sing to the Lord, bless His name; Proclaim the good news of His salvation from day-to-day.”  Psalm 96:1-2 (NKJV)

Our loving God’s handiwork is seen everyday; even in our sin filled world.  I pray we “proclaim the good news of His salvation from day-to-day.”  We are the blessed and adopted heirs to the kingdom of heaven!  Why/How?  Because we accepted the payment made for our sins, which was only possible by the blood atonement, freely offered by the perfect Lamb of God.. our Savior Jesus Christ; God’s only begotten Son– God made flesh.  We NEED to share this message everyday!  Blessings ♥ Streim

Psalm 37: 1-8

1 Fret not thyself because of evildoers , neither be thou envious against the workers of iniquity.

2 For they shall soon be cut down like the grass, and wither as the green herb.

3 Trust in the LORD, and do good; so shalt thou dwell in the land, and verily thou shalt be fed .

4 Delight thyself also in the LORD; and he shall give thee the desires of thine heart.

5 Commit thy way unto the LORD; trust also in him; and he shall bring it to pass .

6 And he shall bring forth thy righteousness as the light, and thy judgment as the noonday.

7 Rest in the LORD, and wait patiently for him: fret not thyself because of him who prospers in his way, because of the man who brings wicked devices to pass. 

8 Cease from anger, and forsake wrath: fret not thyself in any wise to do evil .

Let your cares drive you to God. I shall not mind if you have many of them if each one leads you to prayer. If every fret makes you lean more on the Beloved, it will be a benefit. —Charles Spurgeon

This time of year seems to provoke everyone, even true believers, to get all “wrapped up in the mess of commercialism” instead of getting “caught up in the joys of eternal love given to us by the One whose birth this time is truly about”.   May you bless others by giving where it means the most… “WHERE GOD LEADS YOU TO GIVE”.  ♥ Streim

He Knows

Psalm 103:10-18  “He has not dealt with us according to our sins, Nor punished us according to our iniquities. For as the heavens are high above the earth, So great is His mercy toward those who fear Him;  As far as the east is from the west, So far has He removed our transgressions from us. As a father pities his children, So the Lord pities those who fear Him.  For He knows our frame; He remembers that we are dust.  As for man, his days are like grass; As a flower of the field, so he flourishes.  For the wind passes over it, and it is gone, And its place remembers it no more.  But the mercy of the Lord is from everlasting to everlasting On those who fear Him, And His righteousness to children’s children, To such as keep His covenant, And to those who remember His commandments to do them.“

Peaceful

When I feel forlorn and ill … I remember that this life is a “whisper” in the midst of an eternity filled with the joys of the LORD God Almighty.  Praise Him all His children… let us praise Him!  Thank Him for the merciful gift of love– our Savior Jesus Christ who died without sin; taking our sin upon Himself that we could be reconciled to the Father.

Read and heed His Holy Word, sharing the Light of His love wherever we go…  ♥Streim
