Blessed beyond Measure

I am so pleased to be back.  Oh how I have missed the posts of some favorite bloggers of mine.  This year started out with much turmoil; my health, the health of dear friends and their families, many people passing too soon, unbelievable accidents, financial changes, family changes, this machine, an abnormal barometric pressure roller-coaster ride (bipolar weather) and so much more.

However, this time away was gloriously”wonderful”.

It’s wonderful when our Loving Father God blesses during times of weariness.  He blessed me with hours and hours of “us” time.  Nothing compares to time spent in the Word.  Not just reading/ perusing or listening to another person’s views; but in supplicating prayer, asking for His wisdom, studying as I dug into the meat and the beauty of His HOLY Word.  Days without radio, internet, very little TV( strictly in the evening)filled with silence and singing (well that’s what He hears) prayers of worship and thanksgiving.

Our Father and Lord Jesus, through the beauty and perfection of the Holy Word have shown me something I would like to share over the next few weeks… with photos and Scripture.  The series I have entitled:

LIVING BY THE PROMISES OF THE LORD GOD ALMIGHTY

My prayer is that the hope and peace promised to us in the HOLY BIBLE will be yours!  Rejoicing in the knowledge that “all the promises of God are true”!  ♥ Streim

Friday’s Message in Music (a day late…)

I cry aloud with my voice to the Lord; I make supplication with my voice to the Lord.  I pour out my complaint before Him; I declare my trouble before Him.   When my spirit was overwhelmed within me, You knew my path.  In the way where I walk they have hidden a trap for me.  Look to the right and see; For there is no one who regards me; There is no escape for me; No one cares for my soul.  I cried out to You, O Lord; I said, “You are my refuge, My portion in the land of the living.  Psalm 142:1-5  NASB
As long as we are in this world, we will have trials and troubles.  Knowing we have a Father who hears our cries of help, as well as our words of worship is a comfort.   May it bless you as well.  ♥ Streim

The Joy of Serving a Holy God

Romans 12:1-5  Therefore I urge you, brethren, by the mercies of God, to present your bodies a living and holy sacrifice, acceptable to God, which is your spiritual service of worship. And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, so that you may prove what the will of God is, that which is good and acceptable and perfect. For through the grace given to me I say to everyone among you not to think more highly of himself than he ought to think; but to think so as to have sound judgment, as God has allotted to each a measure of faithFor just as we have many members in one body and all the members do not have the same function so we, who are many, are one body in Christ, and individually members one of another. HolinessIt may be a new year, but our Father and Lord Jesus Christ remain the same!  What a joy that He never changes.  Romans 12 is a special portion of Scripture to me.  May you be blessed by the Word!   Streim
