Friday’s Message in Music

Hello all!  I was unable to use my computer for the past month, and posting from my phone just isn’t the same.  It’s been a month of much joy and much sorrow; frigid cloud-filled days and colder sun-filled days;  unexpected difficult changes and unexpected beautiful blessings; but through it all I have been amazed with the limitless and powerful love of our Lord God Almighty and the Lord Jesus Christ.  I’m a little rusty on the writing… so I’ll the Word speak!  One of the many meditations and prayers David shared in Psalm 119 is from verses 137-144, this expresses what I want to share.  The song as well.  Be blessed …♥ Streim

“Righteous are You, O Lord, And upright are Your judgments. You have commanded Your testimonies in righteousness And exceeding faithfulness. My zeal has consumed me, Because my adversaries have forgotten Your words. Your word is very pure, Therefore Your servant loves it. I am small and despised, Yet I do not forget Your precepts. Your righteousness is an everlasting righteousness, And Your law is truth. Trouble and anguish have come upon me, Yet Your commandments are my delight. Your testimonies are righteous forever; Give me understanding that I may live.”

Friday’s Message in Music

Psalm 145: 18-21 “The Lord is righteous to all who call upon Him in truth.   He will fulfill the desire of those who fear Him;  He also will hear their cry and save them.
The Lord preserves all who love Him, but all the wicked He will destroy.
My mouth shall speak the praise of the Lord, and all flesh shall bless His Holy Name
Forever and ever.”

As this song says… all I can do, day after day is say “thank you” to my Father and Lord Jesus Christ.  Submitting unto His will in all the Word teaches.  May your weekend be amazingly blessed by the Glorious God that David praises in Psalm 145.  ♥ Streim

If you need encouragement…

This season of the year isn’t joyful for everyone.  If you’re someone who is watching a loved one pass; or your family dynamic is changing; or you are completely alone…  I offer these words (actually lyrics to a beautiful song) of hope David penned after his life just went through some horrible changes.  “Trust in the LORD… HE wants you to reach out to Him”  ♥ Streim
