It’s Monday~Lets Make it a PRAYday! will be a weekly starting today. In the past several days, so many of you, my bloggers friends have prayed for me it’s amazing what God does when we trust His Word. Thank you all so much~and praise our Heavenly Father in the name of Jesus for His wondrous grace and love.
Mark 11 :22-24 “And Jesus answering saith unto them, Have faith in God. For verily I say unto you, That whosoever shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed , and be thou cast into the sea; and shall not doubt in his heart, but shall believe that those things which he saith shall come to pass ; he shall have whatsoever he saith . Therefore I say unto you, What things soever ye desire , when ye pray , believe that ye receive them, and ye shall have them.”
If any of you have a prayer requests, feel free to add it to this list:
1) Bill is battling terminal cancer. He is receiving radiation treatments to prolong his days, but they are few. He is in good spirits! (Praise God) This is very difficult for his wife and family, as he is middle-aged. Please prayer for the Lord to extend His hand of comfort to the family.
2) There are many marriages right now that are failing, I would like to ask prayer for Melissa (she knows the Lord) and her husband. He does not know the Lord and within the past several months they have fought a lot. They have 2 beautiful daughters, good jobs but JR is always angry. Please pray for his salvation above all else.
3) Annette is a young mother. Three months ago she lost her job. Several weeks later she found out her husband was having an affair and he left her. Last week Annette was diagnosed with stage 4 ovarian cancer. She knows Jesus Christ as her Savior, but is being tested…
4) I have been impressed by the Lord lately to pray for our pastors. There is much deceit and temptation–and we need to uphold our leaders within the Body of Christ!
Galatians 6:2 we are told “Bear ye one anothers burdens, and so fulfill the law of Christ.”
Romans 15:1 “We then that are strong ought to bear the infirmities of the weak, and not to please ourselves”
I believe in the power of prayer and in God’s family joining together as one to carry one another’s burdens in this way. I will keep all of these people in my prayers. May God’s perfect Will be done in all of their lives!

Joining you in prayer for these folk.
Regarding #4 praying for pastors – I have been staggered several times lately by comments made by “pastors?” and Church “leaders?”. I don’t know how they can use those terms to describe themselves. One (the head of the Church in Australia) even made the statement that even Hitler will be in heaven after his sins have been purged and denied there is a hell. He also denied that Adam & Eve were factual.
We NEED to pray for pastors and we need to pray for Bible Training Colleges that the teachers will stand on the Truth of God’s Word.

I couldn’t agree with you more! The absolute “truth” of the Gospel of Jesus Christ is being twisted, subverted, distorted by so many…it is the Body’s duty to pray for those in “charge over us”. Thank you for such a spiritually insightful comment!
We must needs pray at all times!
